Statement
“I don’t want the makeup to be seen. I want the character to exist.”
I see makeup as a narrative tool. The work begins with the script and continues through conversations with direction, cinematography, costume and hair departments. Every face carries a biography: time, origin, desire, fatigue and power. Design means arranging all those signals until the character feels inevitable.
